Spore Waterberg Game Farm offers self-catering accommodation located on a farm in Modimolle. This property is ideal for families or a group of friends looking for a peaceful weekend getaway.

This self-catering log cabin runs on solar power and can accommodate up to 8 guests. It comprises 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living area. The first, second, and third bedrooms are furnished with a double bed each, and the fourth bedroom has 2 single beds. Each bathroom is fitted with a shower only. 

The kitchen is equipped with a 2-plate gas stove, a gas fridge-freezer, a kettle, cutlery, and crockery. The kitchen leads into the living space, which contains an 8-seater dining table and a comfortable daybed.

Guests have access to a spacious garden with a splash pool and a boma fire pit. Guests can enjoy walks in nature, and the scenery is breathtaking with natural springs and rock pools.

Please note there is a gravel road leading to the property that is only accessible with a high-clearance vehicle or a 4×4.

Spore Waterberg Game Farm is located in the hills of the Waterberg, approximately half way between Modimolle and Vaalwater. Approximately 127km north of Pretoria

The views from some of the hills within the farm extend over large sections of the Waterberg.

A number of spruits on the farm have carved their way into the rocky land, with spectacular waterfalls and rock pools.

FAQ

A number of African mammals and game are kept on the farm. Including (but not limited to):

  • Giraffe
  • Zebra
  • Blue Wildebeest
  • Nyala
  • Kudu
  • Impala
  • Blesbok
  • Waterbuck
  • Sable

There are no large predators kept on the farm. But the area does have roaming leopard that can cross Game Farm fences and boundaries. There have also been sightings of black back jackals

4×4 vehicles must stay on marked trails

Access is via dirt road to the gate, from there a 4×4 with high ground clearance is needed

No regular cell phone access. Only from some parts go high ground.
